This charming detached lodge has stunning views over the parkland towards Dedham Vale.
It is bright and well-equipped, yet cosy and comfortable, giving you a wonderful place to relax at the end of the day exploring the beautiful countryside. Higham Place Lodge provides a great retreat to escape to for a group of friends or a family.
The property is all on one level and has a large open-plan living and kitchen area with triple aspect views out onto the terrace and private garden.
The three bedrooms each have king-size beds with the master bedroom enjoying an en-suite with shower. The family bathroom has a bath with a hand-held shower.
Outside, a barbecue and garden furniture are available to allow you to enjoy the outdoor space to the full and your four-legged friend can come and stay as well. Beyond the garden there are over 15 acres of parkland to explore.

We have just enjoyed our fifth stay in The Gildhall in Higham. We love the warmth and comfort of this beautiful period thatched cottage, and the views and walks from it’s own park, and beyond. My dogs enjoy every moment too, Plenty of space to run round the grounds and then home to a cosy kip in front of the aga.The kitchen is beautiful, And besides being very well equipped, it’s a pleasure to cook in and eat at the scrubbed table. Each room is tastefully appointed And really comfortably furnished. The only problem I have with The Gildhall is that I never want to leave! We are looking forward to our next visit already. “We had a wonderful time at this delightful and roomy property. Our family and their partners came to join us. There is plenty of space for six adults and our dog. The garden is fully dog proof and there is lovely parkland adjoining the property. This was our first time cooking with an Aga and thanks to our expert cooks (partners) it was brilliant. Communication with the owners was very easy and they were most helpful. It is a lovely part of the world to visit.”
